Network Analysis of Local Gene Regulators in Arabidopsis thaliana under Spaceflight Stress

چکیده
Spaceflight microgravity affects normal plant growth in several ways. The transcriptional dataset of the model organism Arabidopsis thaliana grown international space station is mined using graph-theoretic network analysis approaches to identify significant gene transcriptions essential for plant’s survival and altered environments. photosynthesis process critical plants spaceflight under different environmentally stressful conditions such as lower levels gravity, lesser oxygen availability, low atmospheric pressure, presence cosmic radiation. Lasso regression method used regulatory inferencing from expressions four ecotypes related photosynthetic process. individual behavior hub-genes stress response genes their impact on whole analyzed. Logistic centrality measures computed networks, including average shortest path, betweenness centrality, closeness eccentricity, HITS algorithm rank interactor or target networks. Through hub authority interactions, biological processes associated with carbon fixation are identified. have made all sensitive dehydration-and-salt stress. oxidative heat-shock stress-response regulate that involved oxidation-reduction microgravity, enabling adapt successfully environment.

15 صفحه اولNegative control of Strictisidine synthase like-7 gene on salt stress resistance in Arabidopsis thaliana
Strictosidine synthase-like (SSL) is a group of gene families in the Arabidopsis genome, which whose orthologues in other plants are key enzymes in mono-terpenoid indole-alkaloid biosynthesis pathway. The SSL7 is upregulated upon treatments of Arabidopsis plants with signaling molecules such as SA, methyl jasmonate and ethylene. To find the functional role of the gene, a T-DNA-mediated knockout...
متن کاملAnalysis of miRNA expression under stress in Arabidopsis thaliana.
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small, 21-24 nucleotides long, non-coding RNAs involved in the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression. Using the array analysis on Arabidopsis thaliana infected with the Oil-seed Rape Mosaic Virus (ORMV), we have found 28 up-regulated miRNAs. From them, six were selected for further validation by Northern blot analysis: miRNA172a, miRNA161, miRNA167...
متن کاملMicroarray analysis of gene expression patterns in Arabidopsis seedlings under trehalose, sucrose and sorbitol treatment
Trehalose is the non-reducing alpha-alpha-1, 1-linked glucose disaccharide. The biosynthesisprecursor of trehalose, trehalose-6-phosphate (T6P), is essential for plant development, growth, carbon utilization and alters photosynthetic capacity but its mode of action is not understood. In thecurrent research, 6 days old seedlings of Arabidopsis thaliana (Columbia ecotype) were grown inliquid cultu...
متن کاملNatural Variation in Abiotic Stress Responsive Gene Expression and Local Adaptation to Climate in Arabidopsis thaliana
Gene expression varies widely in natural populations, yet the proximate and ultimate causes of this variation are poorly known. Understanding how variation in gene expression affects abiotic stress tolerance, fitness, and adaptation is central to the field of evolutionary genetics. We tested the hypothesis that genes with natural genetic variation in their expression responses to abiotic stress...
